Roles & Responsibilities
As an accountant trainee in Bertam Roadbase Sdn. Bhd., there are few roles and responsibilities during my 12 weeks internship.
- Double checking the data from Sage UBS Accounting System by referring to the hardcopy data.
- Checking with the daily summaries listing of transporters and company’s dockets.
- Key in data such as date such as data of delivery, net weight of the stocks and so on according to the vehicle number plate into an Excel file.
- Calculate total depreciation of company’s assets.
- Create table in Microsoft Excel and do recording the monthly petty cash claims of Yuzen Japanese Restaurant.
- Prepare cheques and make calls to inform creditors to collect them.
- Filing documents such as invoices, bank vouchers accordingly.
- Key in GST ID and company ID of both debtors and creditors into latest version of Sage UBS Accounting System.
- Prepare letters of invoice for customers.
- Calculate Indonesian labors’ Over Time hour and commissions.
- Create a worksheet in Microsoft Excel and record staff’s annual leave.
- Be a receptionist and answering calls from customers.
- Calculate transporters’ commissions.
