Bertam Roadbase Sdn Bhd (BR) is one of the quarry-derived production companies in Malaysia. The office is located at Taman Desa and there are four quarries which are located in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Pantai Remis, Perak, Pantai Salak, Sarawak and Chemor, Perak. Bertam Capital, the quarry management arm of the Bertam Roadbase Group handles the day-today operations of the quarry located Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Bertam Capital quarry represents one of four quarries distributed strategically throughout the nation to support high growth industries serving as the backbone of Malaysian growth. Each quarry is managed and operated by a qualified workforce, supervised by a team of experienced engineers acting as site supervisors.

Granite Aggregate

Bertam Roadbase primary output is construction aggregate – a combination of sand, gravel, and crushed stone, recycled concrete –sourced directly from our nationwide quarries.

 

Ready-mix Concrete

Bertam Roadbase provides a steady stream of Ready-mix Concrete (RMC) of consistent quality for our clients’ consumption. This is because their centralized processing plants, each bath of RMC are produced to exacting specifications.

 

Quarry Dust

A heavy industrial mining residue, quarry dust has often been regarded as a desirable sand replacement for cement mixtures, resulting stronger and more durable compounds. This cost effective alternative is often used in the following application:

-Surface finishing for road works (large scale application)

- Hollow blocks and prefabricated concrete blocks

- Bonding catalyst for other cement-based products

 

Armour Rock

As its name implies, armour rock is a class of large granite stones, assembled to form a shield (also referred to as “rock armour”) when applied against shorelines or steep slopes to mitigate the incremental risk of time-delay erosion and landslides. Alternatively, armour rock can also serve as a foundation for projects involving soft earth.
